About the department
The Department of prosthetic dentistry was established in 2005, at the beginning of the establishment of the College of Dentistry.
The clinical and theoretical program of this department aims at the techniques for making fixed and removable prosthetic prostheses to replace missing teeth, in order to restore patients’ function and esthetics.
Department insight and message:
The Department of prosthetic dentistry seeks the highest level of educational programs by utilizing the most up-to-date scientific techniques in fabrication of fixed and removable prosthesis to replace the missing teeth.
1. Allowing the undergraduate students to clinically manage cases of patients having missing teeth. In order to restore patient’s function and esthetics.
2. Teaching and demonstrating the technical steps for fabrication of fixed and removable dental prosthesis.
